Alexis Braham, MOT, OTR/L

Lexy is a proud graduate of Temple University's Master of Occupational Therapy program. During her time at Temple, Lexy completed fieldwork rotations working with students in multiple school settings, adults in a traditional outpatient clinic, and young adults with a variety of intellectual and developmental disabilities in supported work and living environments. Before pursuing her master’s, Lexy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a minor in holistic health. Lexy still utilizes the information gained in the holistic health program to address clients’ overall wellness while addressing their OT goals. Currently, Lexy works in a specialized school where she treats students with a wide variety of diagnoses to support their school participation as well as functional independence skills.

As an occupational therapist, Lexy's areas of special interest include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD), and social-emotional learning as well as emotional regulation. Lexy is currently pursuing her Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) certification to better serve the ASD population with the most current and evidence-based practices. She firmly believes that approaching every student with compassion and curiosity is the first step in building a therapeutic relationship that will help each child flourish. As an OT, Lexy is passionate about collaborating with families and other professional team members to promote the most success for the children she works with.
