  • Articulation Evaluation

    This evaluation assesses your child’s ability to produce speech sounds age-appropriately, and determine if their sound errors are caused by oral motor deficits, a phonological delay, or a neurological issue. We also do evaluations specifically geared to confirm or rule out Childhood Apraxia of Speech.

  • Comprehensive Speech Evaluation

    Our comprehensive evaluation can include receptive and expressive vocabulary skills, receptive and expressive language skills, language processing skills, in addition to articulation, fluency, and social skills. Each one is tailored for your child’s specific needs and can take from 1 to 4 hours long.

  • Fluency Evaluation

    Our fluency evaluation is designed to evaluate your child’s speech production as well as confirm/rule out stuttering, cluttering, and other fluency disorders.

  • Pragmatic Language/Social Skills Evaluation

    Does your child do well on social skills “tests” but struggle in real life social situations? Our social skills evaluations give parents clinically-significant information about your child’s social skills, but more importantly include non-standardized ways of assessments to get the “full picture” and develop a therapy plan that truly targets your child’s social skills needs.

  • Occupational Therapy Evaluation

    This evaluatioin encompasses many areas that fall under occupational therapy, including fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing skills, attention, and executive functioning skills. Our occupational therapists are equipped to identify and treat different areas that may be impacting your child’s day to day functioning.

  • Tutoring/Learning Consultant Evaluation

    Our tutors are certified reading specialists and/or certified teachers of children with special needs. They perform a reading assessment and develop a tutoring plan to increase your child’s decoding, reading fluency, and reading comprehension skills.

    We also offer comprehensive learning evaluations as needed.

  • Independent 3rd Party Evaluation

    Rizza has over a decade of experience completing independent 3rd party evaluations for parents who are going through mediation with their Child Study Team, or attempting to determine the most appropriate school placement and special services for their child. This type of evaluation requires approval and a purchase order from the school district.

  • Integrated Listening Program (ILS)

    We have certified providers for the Integrated Listening Program, which is a music-based cognitive retraining program. This is utilized for a variety of needs and diagnoses, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Central Auditory Processing Disorder, and Sensory Processing Disorder. Your provider will develop a plan that includes a home-based program, to maximize the positive results for your child.
